Welcome to the MBN Seller Policy! Here, we outline the expectations and responsibilities of sellers on the MBN platform. By creating a shop on MBN, you agree to these terms and conditions.
YOUR OBLIGATIONS:
- High-Quality Listings: Create clear and accurate listings with detailed descriptions, high-resolution photos, and fair pricing.
- Accurate Inventory: Ensure your listed items are readily available and update quantities promptly when stock changes.
- Honest Communication: Respond promptly and professionally to buyer inquiries and messages. Be transparent about processing times and shipping.
- Fast and Reliable Shipping: Ship orders within the timeframe you specify in your listing.
- Positive Customer Service: Strive to provide excellent customer service to build trust and buyer satisfaction. Handle any buyer concerns promptly and professionally.
- Compliance with Laws and Regulations: Ensure your listings and business practices comply with all applicable laws and regulations in Nigeria.
- Respectful Conduct: Maintain a professional and respectful demeanor when interacting with buyers and MBN staff.
THE FOLLOWING ACTIVITIES ARE PROHIBITED ON MBN:
- Selling counterfeit, illegal, or unsafe items.
- Misrepresenting items in listings through inaccurate descriptions or misleading photos.
- Engaging in fraudulent activity or manipulating the MBN platform.
- Violating intellectual property rights of others.
- Spamming or harassing buyers or MBN staff.
- Promoting hate speech or discriminatory content.
- Using MBN for any purpose other than selling goods made by Nigerians.
CONSEQUENCES OF POLICY VIOLATIONS:
MBN takes violations of our Seller Policy seriously. Depending on the severity of the offense, we may take one or more of the following actions against you:
- Removal of your listing
- Shop suspension
- Account termination
- Withholding of funds
REFUNDS
You agree to provide buyers on the MBN platform with a maximum of 30 days' refund window, subject to exceptions. This means buyers have up to 30 days from the date of delivery to initiate refund for some products. This may not however apply to:
- Items damaged due to improper use: Goods/products damage caused by user/buyer's negligence or misuse.
- Digital downloads: Once a digital product has been downloaded, it cannot be refunded to the buyer
- Custom-made or personalized items: Due to their unique nature, custom-made or personalized items typically cannot be returned unless there is a clear error on the seller's part.
Reselling Returned Products
You may resell returned products, provided that the item returned is still in good condition and does not have a manifest pr latent defect. Multiple return of a listed item of a seller may trigger suspension of the seller's account on MBN.
